What Teachers Say
The Swaminarayan School is one which flourishes day by day where the children are not only developing their knowledge and skills academically but spiritually too. The children have an opportunity to develop their own culture and they learn languages including Gujarati and French from an early age. The strong links within the community enable the children to attend assemblies and functions at the beautiful temple. A range of clubs and activities in addition to the main subjects are on offer at school all within the school day! The school provides a full vegetarian meal which is prepared fresh daily as well as late stay facilities.
As a teacher, the smaller classes and the excellent behaviour of the pupils enable quality time for each child. The school curriculum covers a range of work that enables the children to become a well-rounded learner. The teachers all work together and show a sense of partnership to ensure the children's interests are best at heart.

Mr Thomas David
As soon as I started at The Swaminarayan School, I was made to feel welcome by the staff of the school who have been extremely supportive, approachable and helpful, just as they are with the parents and children as well. The children are extremely well behaved and a delight to teach, as they crave knowledge and want to learn. They are inquisitive and hardworking which are two excellent traits in helping to develop into lifelong learners. The Prep school works hard to provide opportunities for children to excel in a wide range of areas, through engaging lessons, clubs, competitions, sport, music and other various extra-curricular activities. I have found this to be fantastic at fostering children’s confidence, and helping them to be the best people they can be. Always friendly and polite, the children are happy to help anyone in the school and are always welcoming of new people. Parents have also been extremely supportive and work in conjunction with the school and teachers to make the school be the best it can be. It has been a wonderful experience teaching here at the Swaminarayan school, and I look forward to being a part of the school community in the future as well.
