What Pupils Say
I really like the school because the teachers are willing to help us when we are stuck. The school has lots of ideas to help it improve each year such as new equipment (like iPads and new computers). We are also a healthy school and only have foods that are good for us, the masi’s cook yummy food for all the children each day as well. We also have lessons that will help us in the future, like learning other languages like French and Gujarati. The student councillors help to make many changes in our school, whether it is ordering new equipment or introducing a new type of food to our school menu.
I like this school because the staff put lots of time into educating us and they work really hard. They are taking lots of time out just to prepare our lessons. I really enjoy the different clubs there are, such as higher order thinking skills, badminton and interviewing skills. The clubs help us for later in life, and they’re lots of fun. There are sporting fixtures in football, netball and tag rugby where we get to play against other schools. One of the best things about the school is the food, because not only is it healthy it tastes really nice. The school always looks at purchasing great new equipment for educational purposes, such as the astroturf pitch and iPads.
I like the school because it encourages you and helps you to push forward in your academics. The school also has good sports facilities and a variety of different clubs, such as cricket, cooking and football. The school provides us with lots of healthy food. When we get stuck during lessons the teachers always help you understand the work. A range of trips are organised by the teachers each year and we go on residential trips from years 3-6.
I like the school because they help us with extra learning support from the teachers. I enjoy the extra-curricular activities such as performing arts, after school and lunchtime clubs, performing on stage, roles and responsibilities (eco warriors & student council) and sporting teams.
